Here are the crowdfunding projects that I’ve spotted this week and wanted to share. I hope you enjoy!
First up we have Lumen: Hack your metabolism & lose weight
Lumen is a device and app that measures your metabolism through the breath. With the app, you will receive daily personalized meal plans to help you lose weight and optimize your workouts. You may think you have a fast or slow metabolism, but in fact, it changes every day, based on the food you eat, how much you sleep and if you workout.
Does it work? I have no idea, but I’m very keen to find out!

The next featured project is HYDAWAY. The world’s most collapsible water bottle.
We know that single-use plastics are destroying our oceans and our environment. Here is a great solution. It collapses nice and small when not in use, so you can always have one on you.
It’s available in loads of fun colours and costs just $21, so go do your bit for the planet!

Now we’ve got the Rite Press -The ‘No Mess’ French Press
The Rite Press gives you the French Press coffee you love without all the mess. With a removable bottom, integrated thermometer, and built-in timer, the Rite Press renders the traditional French Press obsolete (or so they claim). When you’re ready to clean, simply unscrew the bottom and knock the grounds out into a receptacle of your choosing.

And that’s it for this week!
If all of these crowdfunding projects inspire you, do check out my website at dontdoanmba.com/theguide which I have put together to help people fund their own projects. You should have a go! The site features the techniques I used then founding Hamtun Watches, and so I know it works!
